About

Dr. Eksa Kilfoyle is a seasoned leader and systems thinker who brings a rare blend of analytical rigor and human-centered insight to her role as Chief Operating Officer at MAP. With a career that spans academia, healthcare, and corporate finance, Eksa excels at building operational infrastructure that supports both people and performance.

Eksa began her professional journey working with developmentally challenged children — a path that initially sparked her interest in the intersection of care and systems. She later transitioned into accounting, drawn by its structure and analytical nature, earning her PhD in accounting and business. As a professor of accounting and business strategy, she developed a reputation for teaching through real-world, case-based learning, where theory meets complexity and judgment plays a central role. Her research into international cost accounting standards revealed a truth that shapes her leadership style today: numbers don’t exist in a vacuum — they’re shaped by people, context, and purpose.

At MAP, Eksa leads all operational functions across the organization. She oversees the work of MAP’s regional and clinical leadership teams, ensuring the systems, processes, and talent are aligned to support the company’s rapid growth and high standard of care. Her approach blends strategic planning, process optimization, and talent development — all grounded in a deep understanding of human behaviour and organizational dynamics.

Eksa is deeply committed to building a values-driven, high-performing culture at MAP. Her work behind the scenes ensures that every clinic, leader, and team member has the structure and support they need to succeed.
